Hunting for Headstones
My father has always talked about his desire to be buried next to pioneer ancestors in the Asotin Cemetery in Asotin Washington. He will always laughingly refer to the cemetery as having a burial “plan of perpetual neglect”.
Grandmas Are Best
The holiday song offers the phrase, “Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother’s house we go…” Its never grandpa’s house. Everyone seems to identify with their grandmother’s love and attention, both in song, and in reality.
